Peter
Klare, the proprietor and Principal consultant of Peter Klare Consulting, has
been involved in the computer industry since 1964, when, whilst with Qantas, he
was introduced to unit record equipment and "plug-boarding", subsequently
migrating to IBM 1401 with Autocoder, and then the first Commercial IBM 360/30
DOS system in Sydney.
Peter then became involved with a medium sized personnel
group, which established the "second only" EDP recruitment company in Australia.
This was later augmented by a very successful and sizeable keypunch group, which
was later acquired by the Greater Pacific Group, who were already running a
large IBM bureau service.
Peter Klare Consulting is the vehicle for Peter's business activities in IT personnel recruitment, where he has specialised with placements and opportunities in the Asia/Pacific region.
